The Lab of Tomorrow

In the MiRXES Shaw House project, we explored the intersection of scientific precision and human-centric design. As a leading biotech firm, the workspace needed to reflect their commitment to innovation while providing a collaborative environment for high-level research and operations. The design utilizes a refined palette of cool metallics, glass transparency, and clean white surfaces, evoking the sterility and clarity of a laboratory through a sophisticated architectural lens.

The spatial logic revolves around a fluid open-plan layout that encourages spontaneous interaction between different departments. We integrated curved glass partitions and seamless ceiling details to soften the technical environment, creating a rhythmic flow that guides employees and visitors through the office. By incorporating smart lighting systems and ergonomic custom furniture, we have transformed a high-stakes biotech headquarters into a future-ready sanctuary that prioritizes both operational efficiency and the cognitive wellbeing of its innovators.
